BALBRIGGAN
A cotton hosiery style named after the town of that name in Ireland, where it was first made. The name later on was given to knitted underwear of similar quality. Today it is applied to light-weight flat underwear, made from yam dyed a drab shade and spun from Egyptian cotton.
